About Randy Dorsey

Randall Dorsey is a special education teacher who has been educating students in Clermont County for nearly 20 years. With a passion for career tech education, Randy is committed to ensuring every student can read before they graduate and has the support they need to succeed.

Randy has lived in Batavia most of his life, raising his family and building a life in this community that he deeply loves. This village isn't just a place on a map—it's home. It's where his kids learned to ride their bikes, where he and his wife restored a historic home. Batavia is where Randy has had the privilege of meeting so many neighbors at community events, booster tailgates, Scouts, PTO, BCRL, BYF Cheer, and Anchor Fitness.

As a teacher, Randy knows firsthand the impact that adequate school funding has on student success. He's seen what happens when class sizes grow too large, when programs get cut, and when schools don't have the resources they need. That's why he's running for village council—to fight for responsible abatements that serve the community, support our fire and EMS services, and ensure our local businesses thrive with smart planning and development.

Randy believes that Batavia can grow responsibly without compromising our schools and services. He's committed to transparent, accountable government that puts families and students first.
